APPEAL!!! Nature Reserve Information

APPEAL!!! Nature Reserve Information

Is anyone interested in producing a report/document/leaflet containing the history and development of the Darley and Nutwood Nature Reserve in Darley Abbey.
If you check, currently it does not appear on any map as if it does not exist.
There are several people connected to the site who have vital information on how it has developed over the years from Nutwood, the ancient wood to its current status as a nature reserve.
This movement from ancient to modern should be recorded and include such things as:
1. The Temple
2. Connection to Darley House
3. The Derby Tip
4. Methane Gas Control System
5. Land slippage
6. Flood plain
7. Adoption as Nature Reserve
We have approached the Derby University as we thought it may be suitable for a history student to utilise as a project or thesis but unfortunately we have not received any response.
If you are interested please contact any member of the Darley Abbey Committee.
