Darley Park to trial new bins

Darley Park to trial new bins

Over recent years the present litter bin style and construction has become unsuitable, therefore the parks department have been investigating what other bins styles and types are available.  Having now sourced several bins, their intention is to trial them on two main Parks so they can get feedback from the users and our staff as to their usability and appearance.  This will allow them to finally choose a satisfactory replacement bin or whether to stay with existing type.

Darley Park has been chosen as the trial site for the North area.  The Council will be getting the trial bins installed where the existing bins are damaged and trial them for a few months. Parks would appreciate the public's comments during the trial of these bins?
